The men’s shirt
Dear Readers,
some garments like to make a statement. And then there is the men’s shirt.
It doesn’t need bold details or dramatic gestures. A great cut, a beautiful fabric and the ability to adapt effortlessly to any occasion are more than enough. It works just as well for a business meeting as it does for dinner by the lake, worn under a blazer or casually with chinos or denim.
Perhaps its greatest strength is that it never tries to be fashionable. It simply is.
And then there is a phenomenon men all over the world know very well. The moment a shirt is particularly beautiful, it eventually catches a woman’s eye too. Suddenly it is worn with rolled-up sleeves, paired with jeans, or casually borrowed for a relaxed Sunday morning. Not always with prior permission.
One could say that a truly great men’s shirt has the rare ability to win over people it was never originally designed for.
