Paul Smith is British fashion with personality. Founded in 1970 in
Nottingham, it all began in a tiny shop – barely larger than a living room,
three by three meters. There Paul Smith sold his first designs, inspired by
classic English tailoring, but always with a colorful wink.
From this spirit emerged the hallmark now recognized worldwide: the
“Artist Stripe.” That small rainbow breaking through suits, shirts and
coats, giving them an unmistakable signature.
The current collection shows Paul Smith at his best: bold color
combinations, intense shades next to quiet classics, stripes and checks
reinterpreted. English tailoring remains the foundation, but always with
that touch of humor that softens severity.
